Will Lu is an award-winning Director, Cinematographer, and Editor based in New York with over 19 years of experience creating commercials, documentaries, branded content, luxury real estate marketing, healthcare communications, corporate storytelling, and live-event productions.
As Chief Director of ChowFun StandUp & Crazy Laugh, North America’s first Chinese stand-up comedy variety series, he led the production to earn a Bronze Telly Award in 2025. His documentary work includes My Town, Chinatown, an Emmy-nominated series recognized in 2018. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading broadcasters and media organizations, including CCTV and Discovery, producing stories that connect audiences across cultures and communities.
Beyond documentary filmmaking, Will has worked with luxury real estate developers, healthcare organizations, global brands, financial institutions, cultural organizations, and celebrity talent throughout North America.
